L’acérola, également connu sous le nom de cerise de la Barbade, est un fruit aigre-doux originaire d’Amérique centrale et d’Amérique du Sud.
Ressemblant à la cerise "classique", l’acérola a une saveur sucrée subtile, avec une légère touche d’acidité.
